This glaze is herbaceous, and deeply fruity — perfect for grilled chicken thighs, pork chops, or ribs. The Tuscan Herb EVOO brings savory depth, the Cherry balsamic adds a sweet smokey flavor and depth, Top it with Cayenne EVOO drizzle at the end gives it that addictive, slow-building heat.
Ingredients
- ¼ cup Black Cherry Dark Balsamic
- 2 tbs Tuscan Herb EVOO-
- 1 tbsp honey
- 1 tsp Dijon mustard
- 1 tsp Worcestershire
- ½ tsp garlic powder
- ½ tsp onion powder
- ¼ tsp dried rosemary or thyme (optional)
- Pinch of salt
- Cayenne Fused EVOO for finishing (optional)
Instructions
1. Lather ribs or chicken with the Tuscan Herb EVOO. Salt and pepper as desired. Begin cooking ribs or chicken.
2. Combine all ingredients (except the Tuscan Herb and Cayenne EVOO) in a small saucepan.
Simmer over medium‑low heat for 12–15 minutes until slightly thickened and glossy. Once Glaze is created.
3. Brush onto chicken or ribs during the last 10–15 minutes of grilling, layering it on as it caramelizes.
4. Right before serving, drizzle lightly with Cayenne EVOO for a clean, spicy finish that wakes up the whole plate.
Flavor Notes:
The Tuscan Herb EVOO gives this glaze a savory backbone, the cherry balsamic reduces into a rich, fruity lacquer, and the Cayenne EVOO adds a final pop of heat that feels intentional — not overpowering.
